For any question about your data you can write to us at office@codebreaker.ro or call us on 0730 804 195.

Through the contact form, only what you fill in: your name, email address, optionally the company name and estimated budget, the project type you selected and your message. We do not ask for sensitive data and we ask you not to send any through the form.

Automatically, at server level, the IP address, browser type, page requested and time of the request are recorded. These are technical records that any web server produces, needed to run the site and keep it secure.

We do not build profiles, do not take automated decisions affecting you, and do not buy or sell data.

• To answer your enquiry — the basis is your consent, given through the tick box in the form (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), together with steps taken at your request before entering a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
• Security and preventing abuse — we check submissions automatically for signs of abuse and limit how many messages come from one source. The basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the site working (Art. 6(1)(f)).
• Statistics and marketing — only if you explicitly agree to cookies (Art. 6(1)(a)). You can refuse with no effect on your use of the site.

• Messages from the form — at most 24 months from our last exchange with you, so we have the history of the conversation. We delete them sooner if you ask.
• Server logs — they rotate automatically, overwritten as they accumulate. We do not archive them and do not use them for anything other than diagnosing problems and security.
• Your cookie choice — 12 months, after which we ask again.

We do not disclose data to third parties for their own purposes. The following categories of processors handle it, strictly in order to provide us with their service:

• The hosting provider — the server running the site is located in the European Union.
• The email provider — through which we receive the messages sent from the form.
• Public authorities, where we have a legal obligation.

At the moment the site uses no cookies for analytics or marketing, loads no third-party resources and contains no tracking tools. Fonts are served from our own server. That is why you will not see a cookie consent dialog.

Under the GDPR you have the following rights, which you can exercise free of charge:

• Access — to find out what data we hold about you and receive a copy.
• Rectification — to have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected.
• Erasure — to have data deleted, when we no longer have a lawful reason to keep it.
• Restriction — to limit processing while a challenge is being checked.
• Objection — to object to processing based on legitimate interest.
• Portability — to receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
• Withdrawing consent — at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before then.

Write to us at office@codebreaker.ro and we reply within 30 days at the latest. If your request concerns deletion, mention the email address you used to contact us, so we can find the right messages.

If your rights are breached, you can lodge a complaint with the Autoritatea Națională de Supraveghere a Prelucrării Datelor cu Caracter Personal, B-dul G-ral. Gheorghe Magheru nr. 28-30, Sector 1, București, anspdcp.ro.

The site is served over HTTPS only. Messages from the form are not stored in a database on the site — they are emailed to us and stay in our mailbox. The form is protected against automated submissions and limits how many messages come from a single source. Access to the server is restricted by cryptographic keys.

Our services are aimed at companies and adults. We do not knowingly collect data from people under 16. If you learn that a child has sent us data through the form, write to us and we will delete it.
