Custom software development

We build applications shaped around the way you work.

An off-the-shelf product makes you change how you work so you fit it. We do the opposite: we start from how you work now and build something that sits on top of that, not against it.

What we do
Applications built from scratch, around your need
Who it is for
Companies, NGOs and organisations of any size
How it starts
With a conversation of about an hour, at no cost

Signs you need this

  • You do the same steps by hand, every day or every month.
  • You use several tools that do not talk to each other, and you move data between them by copy-paste.
  • You tried an off-the-shelf product and hit things it simply cannot do.
  • You work in spreadsheets that have grown so complicated only one person still understands them.
  • You want to give your customers a place to see their orders, their status or their documents.
  • You have an idea for a product and do not know where to start.

What you actually get

  • An application that does exactly what you asked for — not one you adapt yourself to.
  • Access for you and your team, with different rights depending on the role.
  • Training, so people can use it from day one.
  • The software and the data are yours. You can take them anywhere, any time.
  • Documentation written to be understood, not only by programmers.
  • A clear plan for what happens after launch.

STEP BY STEP

How it goes, from the first conversation to the end

Each step also says what is expected of you. It is usually less than people fear.

  1. 01

    We talk

You tell us what is getting in the way and how you work now. We ask a lot of questions. It usually takes an hour and costs nothing.

    Partea ta

Come with real examples: a report that takes you three hours, a file that keeps getting lost.

  2. 02

We send you a written proposal

You get on paper what we would build, in what order, how long it takes and what it costs. No terms you have to look up.

    Partea ta

Read it and tell us what is missing or what did not make sense.

  3. 03

We show you how it will look

Before we write a line of code, we show you the screens. Changing a picture is far cheaper than changing a built application.

    Partea ta

Tell us honestly what does not feel right. Now is the moment.

  4. 04

    We build in pieces

We do not disappear for three months and come back with a surprise. We show you what we did every two weeks and carry on with what you tell us.

    Partea ta

Set aside an hour for each demo. It is the best investment in the whole project.

  5. 05

    We test together

We check first, security included. Then we give you access to try it with real data from your own work.

    Partea ta

Try the awkward cases, not just the easy ones.

  6. 06

    We put it live

We move everything across, train your people and stay close in the first days, when the questions come.

    Partea ta

Let us pick a moment together that does not land in your busiest week.

  7. 07

    We stay available

After launch we can continue with maintenance, help when something breaks, and building the new things you want.

What it costs

We have no shelf price, because we do not sell a shelf product. The cost depends on how much has to be built and how complicated the rules behind your work are.

The first conversation is free and commits you to nothing. After it you get in writing what we would build, how long it takes and what it costs — so you can compare us with anyone else.

What drives the price

  • How many different things the application has to do
  • How many kinds of users it has and what each may do
  • Whether it has to connect to tools you already use
  • Whether old data has to be moved into it
  • How soon you need it

What we do not do

  • We do not sell licences for off-the-shelf products.
  • If your problem is solved better and cheaper by something already on the market, we tell you in the first conversation and build you nothing.
  • We do not start writing code before it is clear, in writing, what we are building.

Frequently asked

Do I need to know exactly what I want beforehand?

No. Knowing what is getting in your way is enough. Turning the problem into a clear solution is the first stage of our work.

Who owns the application at the end?

You do. The software, the data and everything built belongs to you. We do not ask you to stay with us for it to keep working.

What if I want changes along the way?

They always come up. That is exactly why we work in pieces and show you every two weeks. Small changes fit as we go; big ones we discuss separately, so you know what they mean in time and cost.

Can I work with you if I already have a developer?

Yes. We can work alongside your people, take on part of the project, or simply review what has been built.

Not sure this is the right service?

Write to us about what is getting in the way, in your own words. We will tell you which option fits — or whether none of them does.
